Apply for a NIE / TIE
If you’re from a EU Country, you will have to apply for a NIE within 3 months of arrival. If you’re not from a EU country, you will most likely have to get a temporary NIE, and eventually a TIE.This will be the most important document as you will need it for pretty much everything in Spain, including opening a bank account.
